Alan Findlay is the Director of Abbotsinch Capital and brings over 20 years of experience across financial markets and international property investment. While working full-time as a stockbroker, Alan founded the predecessor to Abbotsinch Capital in 1999 from his bedroom in Hackney, London, demonstrating early entrepreneurial drive and a strong understanding of market cycles.

During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Alan identified strong growth opportunities in emerging London boroughs including Hackney, Islington and surrounding areas. Through careful sourcing and disciplined investment selection, he built a portfolio both personally and for a growing network of private clients. Many of these investments performed exceptionally well, helping establish the foundations of Abbotsinch Capital’s investor-focused approach and long-term client relationships.

Since 2010, Abbotsinch Capital has focused on sourcing investment opportunities across key US property markets, helping international investors access opportunities that can deliver strong yields and long-term growth potential. The firm was built around a simple principle: making US property investment straightforward and truly passive for clients.
